The broadband regulator, Ofcom, allows providers to make savings when selling broadband to customers connected to telephone exchanges where several providers have installed their own equipment (market classification). Plusnet passes on those savings to customers in these higher competition areas.
Plusnet now also has a Price Promise to be the cheapest stand alone basic broadband in the country. As a result of this some areas receive an additional discount.
